Faroe Dive signs cooperation agreement with Nordsjællands Brand- og Dykkerskole

The Faroese Commercial Diving School has entered a new strategic partnership with Nordsjællands Brand- og Dykkerskole, following the signing of a formal cooperation agreement yesterday.The collaboration marks a significant step toward strengthening and expanding access to modern, industry‑aligned commercial diving education in both the Faroe Islands and Denmark.

According to the two institutions, the agreement will support joint professional development, coordinated teaching activities, and shared training programmes. The goal is to ensure that divers are trained to the highest standards of quality, safety, and future operational needs within the commercial diving industry.

The partnership is expected to benefit students, instructors, and the wider maritime and offshore sectors, where demand for highly skilled and safety‑certified divers continues to grow.

At the signing, representatives from the Faroese Commercial Diving School expressed optimism about the cooperation, emphasising the long‑term value for both countries’ diving environments:
