Construction of the new dry dock in Skála is progressing according to plan, with recent work focused on establishing a temporary cofferdam to ensure that the project can continue in dry conditions. The export value of Faroese mackerel has increased by almost 800 million DKK  over the past 12‑month period, according to newly published figures from Hagstova Føroya.
