Seafacts Solutions is a new company that focuses on CCTV and Remote Electronic Monitoring solutions – or "REM", as it is commonly called.

This is the first official trip to Norway, where they will assemble and install the REM solution on vessels in Fosnavåg.

If you are unfamiliar with REM, the Scottish Government has set a requirement that all pelagic fishing vessels fishing for pelagic species in Scottish waters must have cameras on board before March 2026.

The REM solution has been developed in close collaboration with around 70 Norwegian and Faroese vessels, and we work closely with local suppliers along the Norwegian coast.

Seafacts Solutions is a Faroese company that is 100% owned by Fishfacts.

The picture was taken yesterday at the airport in the Faroe Islands, when they were on their way to the first official trip to Norway.
