Cruise Calls by Port and Destination

A Destination Defined by Diversity
The geographical spread of cruise calls reflects one of the Faroe Islands' greatest strengths as a cruise destination: the ability to offer visitors a wide variety of experiences within relatively short sailing distances. Passengers can explore bustling harbour towns, dramatic landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and remote island communities, often within a single itinerary.
This flexibility makes the Faroe Islands attractive to both traditional cruise operators and smaller expedition vessels seeking authentic and immersive experiences. Whether arriving in the capital, exploring picturesque villages, or venturing into more remote areas of the archipelago, cruise guests have access to a broad range of excursions that showcase the unique character of the islands.
Looking Ahead
As interest in North Atlantic destinations continues to grow, Cruise Faroe Islands remains focused on strengthening cooperation between Faroese ports, cruise agents, tour operators and local stakeholders.
Through collaboration and continued destination development, the Faroe Islands are well positioned to offer cruise operators diverse itineraries that highlight the country's spectacular scenery, vibrant culture and welcoming communities, ensuring that cruise tourism continues to benefit destinations across the entire archipelago.
