Tor Shipping | Agent for British military vessel

Tor Shipping had the pleasure of acting as shipping agent for a British military vessel that recently called at Port of Tórshavn.  

The ship came alongside for bunkering, provisioning, crew change, and to discharge sewage, among other services.

With around 200 crew members on board, the visit also offered a great opportunity for them to experience the Faroe Islands. 

Many rented cars to explore the islands, while others enjoyed the lively evenings in town — the local bars were certainly busy!

A highlight for many was the chance to attend the football match between the Faroe Islands and the Czech Republic — with several crew members buying tickets to see the game and celebrate the home team’s fantastic 2–1 victory.

All in all, some exciting and memorable days for both the crew and everyone involved!
