Port of Vagur on a learning and inspirational visit to Iceland

In order to continue to build up cruise tourism in Vágur.

This week, representatives from Port of Vagur are on a learning and inspirational visit to Iceland, supported by NATA, as the Port and Municipality of Vagur continue to build up cruise tourism in Vágur.


They visiting Ísafjörður, where they will learn from Port of Ísafjörður and Visit Ísafjörður how a small town can handle thousands of cruise guests – sometimes up to 8,000 in one day. Later this week, the group will meet with the Harbour Master of Reykjanesbær, where cruise tourism is still in early development, to exchange ideas and inspiration.
