The tasks that divers perform for their clients are continuously moved to greater depths and in more complex conditions. Several Faroese diving companies are working purposefully to strengthen their competencies so that they can offer safe and efficient services down to a depth of 50 meters in the future.
One of the latest services is the establishment of strong anchors directly in the rocky seabed. These are used to hold floating structures and equipment. What is special about this task/service is both the size and strength of the anchors – as well as the demanding conditions under which they are carried out.
The technological and professional development clearly shows that the Faroese diving industry is well equipped to meet the needs of the future.
