During this year’s Blue Whiting season west of Ireland, Killybegs has once again become a central hub for pelagic activity as numerous vessels arrive to discharge their catches.
Last week, an impressive sight unfolded at the quayside when four well‑known pelagic vessels were berthed side by side — each equipped with Vónin pelagic trawl doors.
From left to right, the vessels were:
Christina S 🇬🇧
Quantus 🇬🇧
Gunnar Langva 🇳🇴
Sunny Lady 🇳🇴
The lineup underscored Vónin’s strong presence in the pelagic sector. “We are proud to have delivered trawl doors to these and many other valued customers,” the company noted, marking another successful season serving some of the industry’s most respected operators.
