While a part the team is working hard at the #AquaNor2025 exhibition another feed barge – Delivered to the customer
The barge was delivered yesterday. There are some minor preparations to do before its being towed to one of the large exposed sites in the Faroe Islands.
These barges are built to withstand rough weather and operate on exposed sites. This barge has a feed capacity of 700 tonnes and is equipped with 18 feeding lines.
Gro Aqua currently building two more of these large newbuilds for the aquaculture industry.
The massive feeding barges are going to be operated by a combination of GroAqua’s FishFeeder and GroVision solutions. A proven way to efficiently and sustainably feed fish autonomously and semi autonomously.
