MEST reports strong year with dkk 665.9m in net sales and dkk 28.8m profit

MEST recorded high activity last year, posting net sales of DKK 665.9 million and a profit after tax of DKK 28.8 million. Growth was reported across all business areas. The MEST Group now employs 600 people, including 67 apprentices.

“We are very satisfied with the result for 2025,” said Mouritz Mohr, CEO at MEST. “If we are to take on major projects—such as investing in a new dock and handling larger assignments for our customers—we need to be a strong and well‑organized company. I am therefore especially pleased that the year turned out well across all business areas in the MEST Group.”

MEST maintains a solid financial footing with equity of DKK 178 million and a solidity ratio of 41.8%.

Subsidiary Update: PAM Offshore Service

MEST’s subsidiary PAM Offshore Service also delivered a satisfactory year in 2025, with several significant projects completed and more in the pipeline.

  • Faroes’ Largest Work Barge for MOWIIn September last year, MOWI and MEST signed a contract to build a 24‑meter by 12‑meter work barge. Delivery is planned for spring 2027. All work, including the hull, will be carried out in the Faroe Islands.

Sustainability Reporting

As in 2024, MEST has prepared a 2025 Sustainability Report.

New Dry Dock Progress

Construction of MEST’s new dry dock is well underway and progressing according to plan. The project is slated for completion in October 2026. The dock will measure 150 meters in length, 33 meters in width, and 11.5 meters in depth. Several foreign and Faroese vessels have already requested slots.

The MEST Group encompasses shipyards in Tórshavn and Skála, a manufacturing site in Runavík, and PAM Offshore Service, which provides services to the offshore sector in Norway.

“2026 will be a busy year. Competition is fierce, so we are working systematically to strengthen our service level and deliveries, and to invest in developing our people. We are pleased to see our initiatives bearing fruit and that more and more customers are choosing MEST as their supplier,” said Mouritz Mohr, CEO of MEST.
