Smyril Line’s first new vessel enters sea trials

Smyril Line’s fleet renewal is progressing, with the first of two new vessels now entering sea trials in the Bohai Sea—an important milestone ahead of delivery.

The project reflects the company’s investment in modern tonnage and improved onboard experience. Maritime Montering has contributed by developing comfortable living spaces for crew and passengers, helping prepare the vessel for service.

With two ships under construction, Smyril Line is strengthening its future operations and capacity in the North Atlantic.
