Two Irish pelagic vessels, Brendelen and Father McKee, are currently undergoing extensive maintenance and repair work at MEST Shipyard in the Faroe Islands.
Both vessels are positioned on the slips, where they will remain for approximately five weeks as part of their scheduled refit programs.
The projects involve comprehensive work aimed at ensuring the vessels return to peak operational condition ahead of the upcoming fishing activities.

MEST Shipyard continues to serve as a trusted destination for international fleets seeking high-quality marine services.
Welcoming vessels from Ireland reflects the strong ties within the North Atlantic fishing community.
The shipyard takes pride in supporting its southern neighbours and looks forward to delivering both Brendelen and Father McKee back to sea fully serviced and ready for a successful season.
