Faroese Maritime Authority | Nólsoy lighthouse and Borðan lighthouse relit

After being out of operation for nearly 14 days, the lighthouses on Nólsoy are now lit again. The outage was caused by a fault in the power cable, which was recently installed from Eggjarklettur down to Borðan.

Efforts to locate the fault were significantly hampered by adverse weather conditions in recent weeks. The issue has now been resolved, and the lighthouses are once again fully operational.
