After being out of operation for nearly 14 days, the lighthouses on Nólsoy are now lit again. The outage was caused by a fault in the power cable, which was recently installed from Eggjarklettur down to Borðan. Efforts to locate the fault were significantly hampered by adverse weather conditions in recent weeks.
