The workboat Slættanes , owned by the aquaculture company Hiddenfjord, has spent several weeks in the KJ shipyard dock hall in Klaksvík for upgrades to meet new FMA requirements, as well as general maintenance and inspection work. Construction of the new dry dock in Skála is progressing according to plan, with recent work focused on establishing a temporary cofferdam to ensure that the project can continue in dry conditions. The hull of the freezer trawler Dunga Jákup , built at the Stocznia Wisła shipyard in Gdansk, Poland , was launched and officially handed over earlier this week.
